    Hi,

I play Warcraft 3/CS:S/World of Warcraft on Vista Home Premium. FPS is generally not a problem for me, but alt-tabbing out of full screen mode for these games will cause my computer to stall for a good 10-20 seconds. I tried searching but I can't seem find a solution to reduce the stall time. Before upgrading to Vista, alt-tabbing on WinXP was instantaneous.

    My computer specs as follow:

    E6300 OC'ed to 2.81GHZ

    OCZ 2GB DDR2-800 memory

    Radeon X1950 PRO

    Asus P5B Deluxe

Display mode has to change in Vista. It didn't in XP.

but that's a hefty delay nevertheless. Don't your games minimise if you tap the windows key? That's how I do it, and I only get the briefest of delays!

My ALT+TAB seems to have a 4 or 5 second delay. I find the WINDOWS+TAB is almost instant.
