Why is nobody talking about this game lately? This has been the most highly anticipated game this year and tomorrow is the official release day. I have been waiting and waiting and am dying to play tomorrow.
So in all my hours a day on the web I see very few things about it. Even from Valve there is nothing.
Just seems odd that nobody has been talking about it. It's like the last 2 weeks have been silent.
I want my Half-Life 2 Episode 2 and I want it NOW!

Hope you've preloaded it and Portal ? I have and can't wait too, Portal looks absolutely brilliant. Have you tried Team Fortress 2 as well?

No I have not Preloaded it. They want me to pay for games I already own if I preload. If I wait until tomorrow I can purchase ONLY Episode 2, Portal & TF2 which is all I need and it costs less. I can wait for TF2 since I don't do multiplayer gaming. I'll play with it some just to see the new features. I did love the original but lost interest in multi player gaming.
Damn Valve anyway.Lian-Li PCV-2000B Full Tower case (Black)

LOL It doesn't cost less, it will cost more.
Half Life 2 and Episode one were free, there is also a 10% reduction on the total cost if you pre-ordered. I think your gonna be in for a shock.

Bouhgt the damn Orange Box! Man that hurt. Fighting cancer and totally disabled leaves me hard pressed for money and it hurt badly to pay for games I already own again. So what I can "gift" them to someone. Everyone I know that cares has them already too.
Valve now has a permanent black eye in my book! I will continue to buy/use their products because they are a quality company with quality products but there is no need to rip off the customers that already paid for HL2 & HL2 EP1!
At least I have EP2 so I can get some enjoyment being stuck at home all the time. Thats the only game I cared about currently.

Yeah it costs more to buy Portal and HL2EP2 seperately from The Orange Box.
There is a war going on for your mind.

Considering the original plan had The Black Box, which featured only the new material, at $10 less than The Orange Box, they most certainly are not free. People are being forced to pay $10 more to essentially market games that they already own onto people who do not already own them, creating more revenue for Valve when said people decide that they also want Episode Two.
Tedious audience manipulation by Valve.
