    Hi,

I was just looking into pre-ordering Windows 7 Home Premium E but I'm not sure if it'll be worth buying. Can anyone here give me any advice on whether I should wait for bugs to be fixed etc?

    Thanks.

Buy it!!! Quickly!!! It's on sale for pre-order for £44 (RRP £150) at Dixons, Comet, PC World, Play.com, Amazon UK, etc but it's only until August 9th and only while stocks last so be quick about it.

It's far better than XP or Vista.

It works as well on my skulltrail rig below as it does on my laptop which is only 1.6GHz with 2GB

For the early order price ($50 in the US) I think it is well worth. I like a lot of aspects of W7 although I am a hard core Vista fan.

I think I'll preorder from Play. If I order from Play.com, I'm guessing I'll get a disc? Am I correct?

It’s definitely worth buying, Vista was worth buying and Win7 is more than a step up.

At that low upgrade price absolutely.

Definitely, run out and get it. Personally I can't wait to get the RTM on this little baby.

idk my dad was too lazy to order it and i think the pre orders are done, so now its shell out $150 each copy, i will just stick with windows 7 RC until its juiced out i guess, and then just go back to XP or vista, besides, i rather have that money go to where it could be needed more from a smaller more open company (mandriva, they have got surprisingly a bit better in the past days, i was complaining about *their website a couple of days ago ( i did it constructively) then the next day the website maintainer fixed it and posted All OK, isn't it ? and linked back to show me he fixed it.
