    Well hello

I hope you guys know of a way to make this game work cause it hasn't been working for me on window vista, I haven't tried it on windows XP

First of all when I install it, it takes ages then when I've installed it, I click on accept to make a shortcut of the game exe on the desktop and nothing happens.

So I go to programfiles to the folder where I installed the game and click on the exe of the game and it opens up a black screen and it doesn't even reach the introduction window then it automaticly closes and then an error file with this written in it appears in the game folder :

Might be a problem with how the game installed.

Try turning off UAC and reinstall the game.

It could also be a problem with your video driver.

Do you have the latest Catalyst drivers from ATI installed?

If you haven't already try running it as an administrator.

Just right click on the game executable and click on

Run as Administrator. You can also try running it in compatibility

mode. Right click on the exe and click properties. Click on the

compatibility tab and set it to run in XP SP2 compatibility mode.

Also click the box to run as administrator.

Well the installation of the game is normal cause of the primitivity of the makers of this game I suppose.

I've never seen any game installation using .vid extension that take altogether 1 hour to extract on to my computer thats why I find it primitive from its makers.

Anyways, about the UAC well I've turned it off from the day I got Windows Vista Ultimate Edition, I haven't tried though installing any video driver for my computer because its only been like a month since I've installed my latest driver but I'll try.

About the game exe's properties, the compatibility tab is already set to XP SP2 compatibility mode but the only thing that I haven't been able to do, is clicking on the box to run as administrator cause its gray and I'm not able to get a check mark on it, is there a way to manually activate an option allowing me to check mark on the Run as administrator box?

    Thanks again

The latest driver from ATI is Catalyst 7.2 released at the end of February.

They will likely be releasing 7.3 in the next couple of weeks.

You can get Catalyst 7.2 here.

Are you an administrator on your computer? If you are and you have already disabled UAC

then the run as administrator option does not apply. Since UAC is off Vista runs everything

with admin privileges as long as your user account is an administrator.
